Waterfalls and wildflowers Photo Workshop - Brisbane Waters NSW

When: December 12,2018
Time: 8:00am
Category: Workshops

Exciting news!!!! - There is some more rain on the way. That's great for farmers and photographers.

I’m not usually a fan of the rain but I do enjoy photographing waterfalls when there at their best. Keen to make the most of the rain and join me for a leisurely wander around the Girrakool nature trail?

For more information please contact Matt via the enquiry button in the blue section below.

Access: Easy. Nothing strenuous. A few steps at most. We will follow a trail at a leisurely pace.

The Australian bushland is quite nice after rain. There’re usually some lovely wild flowers in bloom at this time of year and the textures of bark, leaves and rocks can make for interest photos.

Bring:

  • DSLR, or Mirrorless camera (one that can be manually controlled)
  • Ideally: a wide-angle lens and a macro lens if you have one.
  • Plenty of memory card space and spare batteries
  • Tripod is a must for long exposures on waterfalls
  • Cable release if you have one, but not essential
  • Sturdy footwear (trail might be wet in places after rain)
  • Sunscreen, rain jacket
  • Water,
  • Packed lunch (there are picnic/bbq facilities available on-site)

Cost: $85pp

Park entry fee (flat rate) is $8 per vehicle and will also give you access to nearby Somerby Falls.
