Swakopmund - Spitzkoppe - Twyfelfontein - Sesfontein - Etosha - Okonjima Nature Reserve - Central Namibia
14 Days / 13 Nights

The “Untamed North” itinerary has been created as a follow-on to the Part 1 “Serene South” safari. Namibia is not a place to be rushed so I have created two very unique itineraries with much to offer. On this northern safari we will experience and capture vast, wild and untamed beauty of the rugged and somewhat more vegetated landscapes that are home to countless wild and indigenous tribespeople.

Feel the heartbeat of Africa as we journey through some of the wildest and most rugged Namibian landscapes, very different in contrast to the south. Along the way we will encounter exotic wildlife, hang out with many different cultural races and learn the value of ‘tribe’. Bask in the luxury of Namibian hospitality and whether you are a photographer or not, this trip will captivate your soul.
The itinerary has been designed to offer the finest in photographic opportunities but even without a camera, this trip will blow your mind. Feel free to bring a partner or friend even if they aren’t a photographer…yet ;)

Highlights:
  1. Arrive and unwind at the lively coast town of Swakopmund where many fun activities await you
  2. Witness the endless change of landscape as we venture through some of the remotest parts of the country
  3. Enjoy many cultural encounters with a diverse range of different races and tribes including the Himbas, the San, the Herero, Damara and Nama just to name a few. Many smiles and great portraits await you.
  4. See some of Africa’s best rock carvings and hear myths and legends at a UNESCO world heritage site
  5. If you are coming to Africa to experience wildlife then you are in for a treat.
  6. Gaze into the bright Namibian night sky with a view that is out of this world.
  7. Relax in style and comfort at the many unique accommodation destinations on our travels
  8. Experience one of the last remaining tribal cultures that still exists as they have since the 16th century.
  9. Whether you have a camera or not, sit back and relax and enjoy an experience of a lifetimeThere will be opportunities for landscape, sunset, astro, skyscape, wildlife, street, cultural, portrait and archaeological photography. Optional flight excursions will also be available for aerial in Swakopmund.
